Just wondering since you'll have mics and all that will there be a lobby or something or will the Drummer,Guitarist, and Bassist be able to talk to each other while jamming or anything? I'm just wondering how the socializing will work in the online mode.

Mabye they can put in some kind of back-up vocals? Who knows. But I'm thinking that while your looking for what song to play, you can talk, and after each song, you can talk.

Yeah.. thinking of that there might be Voicechat or Either Type it with a Keyboard , but if you think about it you dont need that you can just send Messeges to your friends on XLive Or Ps Network

yea but how lame would it be having to keep sending messages over and over about what song to pick? its not very practical

Yes but that would really kill socialization with new people and such things. Specially since sending msgs on xbox u need to press xbox center button, add person to friends, go to friends, record msg, send, and then WAIT till he gets it, opens it, and sneds on back.

Cross your fingers for Voicechat :)

I would assume there will be voice chat...just because of the design of the previous guitars for Guitar Hero 2 on Xbox 360. There was a slot for the headset to fit in. I'm not sure about if the new guitars have a place for the headset (I would assume they do) but, that makes me feel very sure about the voice chat, at least on the 360. Honestly, I would assume the same on the PS3.

if theres a lobby or if u can talk between songs you should be able totalk just like playing in halo

I hope there is some sort of voice chat, during the songs and before/after....If there isn't it won't severely hurt the game though.

Could you use the headset to sing instead of getting the mic?

I doubt it seeing as the Microsoft Live Mic is just for speaking and wouldn't have anywhere near the same technology as the Rockband mic. Meaning that one was meant for speaking and not caring bout your pitch, or what not and the other was meant for singing in a game.
