Long Time No See. An important piece of advice...

As the title says, long time no see. No I'm gonna do some neo-communist ramble or see if any of you even remember me, but I'm here just to say one thing.

How to Play Guitar:

1) Playing guitar is the most fun you'll ever have.

2) It's easier than people make out.

3) Learn to read tabs and compile some songs you like.

I know this is off-topic, but I just want to preach the wonders of the instrument. Months ago I asked bout stuff like effects boxes - now I can play a nice rendition of some nice songs and I'd just like to say it is a wonderful thing.

So sorry if this was off topic but I have to preach the wonders of the git-machine. I'm playing a crummy guitar, through a crummy amp, but its the most fun I've had in a while.

Keep rocking on forever peeps...

Anyway thx its all nice to hear good stuff maybe I'll come on here more often. I cba to argue **** like politics its nice now and again but its a bloody rock band forum and is outta place.

Im just starting to pick guitar back up. I played bass for 5-6 years, and now im learning acoustic. I suck at it though, the strings are to damn close together. I just haven't had motivation for the last year to actually pick the guitar up. But a couple days ago I went out and bought a tuner becuase my old one disappeared and a capo and I have been playing.
So I premptively took your advice..or something?
