Hello,

I really enjoy the game, but as my family and I play more then one instrument, we seem to have issues with lag, and or missing of notes when they are positively being played at the right time. We have witnessed this on multiple songs and instruments. Is there a software issue or xbox 360 issue that causes notes to be missed? it gets frustrating trying to play when we have done well then it misses 10 notes on one then the other instrument. We also have issue with single guitar missing notes when being strummed. Is there any thing to do to fix either issue?
Thank you

Have you gone through the calibration option in the game? It may help with some of the performance issues you are having. If not, what sort of TV do you have? Many high-end TVs have a 'Game' mode that you can switch to in order to help performance. Some people also have luck making sure the 'Dobly 5.1' option is turned off in the game.

Let me know if you are still having trouble.

I have a new 73" DLP Mitsubishi TV. I have it in game mode, I have adjusted the setting manually, and automatic. I run it through a Higher end Pioneer receiver. The issue is that when playing multiple instruments often times, they seem to interfere with eachother. As if the game is having to process to many functions at once, or the USB bus is having a overflow and they are cancelling eachother. If that makes any sense.

I haven't, personally, seen something like that before with the game. We have setup full bands here on the Xbox 360 version and not seen this local multiplayer lag/missed functions that you are seeing. :( Is anyone else having an issue like this? I will see what I can find out about what may be happening.

I've had this problem. I also tried just plugging right into the console instead of using the hub, and it didn't really get any better.

It's weird though...things start out OK and then all of the sudden one instrument just stops registering consistently. It will hit some notes, but it's really unpredictable.

I am having a similar problem with my mitsubishi DLP. It is very annoying!

Here is something interesting my friend and I noticed last night. First of all, I have my xbox360 running hdmi (passthrough) to a onkyo 7.1 receiver. Using the optical output of the 360 into the receiver. I was playing drums and calibrated it and everything worked fine. My buddy playing guitar couldn't play at all with these calibration settings. Calibrate for him and I can't play drums. We found that if he stood next to me (as opposed to the other side of the room) he could play with my settings. Basically it goes like this: The calibration that you set is in milliseconds. Even though my friend and I were in the same room, the sound was reaching us at different times, making play very difficult. That is why when he stood next to me everything worked fine. He was originally only a few feet away on the other side of the coffee table, but the distance was enough to cause issues. Just something to consider.
