First off, I love rock band, but the original bass pedal broke like a week into playing the drums. So I ordered replacement. Now I'm wondering how to get double bass to work. I bought a headphone splitter, but it isn't working. They both work independtly, but not together. Also, how much would it cost me to NOT send back the broken pedal and keep both?

So here's 2 questions right back atcha:
1) Why on earth would you not want to send back the broken pedal when it's gonna cost you $125 to keep it?
2) Why do you want double bass in the game? No song in the current list (or DLC) requires double bass, and all of them CAN be played with single.
This has been covered in multiple threads already, but I'm going to add another new comment here...
You think it's hard learning to coordinate just 3 of your limbs (arm, arm, leg)? Try 4!
Everybody should be concentrating on how to learn a single kick before they even THINK about adding another. And if you're a real-life drummer who already can play double bass, then you should already know you don't need it in any of these current songs.
