Voice chat problems?

Has anyone else been experiencing issues with chatting online? My mic just gives crazy feedback and my brother's doesn't work at all. Is there any known issues with voice chat?

Or a possible fix?

I'm having the same problem, my first mic gave crazy feedback so i thought it was broken seeing how I haven't played Live in a while, i bought the new mic today and plugged it into my drum set but the other players can't hear me, i can hear them through my TV speakers but they can't hear me at all. Has anyone had a similar problem and found a solution ?

Maybe it is just a glitch. Have you tryed just connecting the mic to a reg. controller and talking through that?
