View Full Version : Umm...Empty Box?

I selected the "Express" replacement plan for the guitar (and yes I'm sure, I had to give them my CC # and everything). I noticed my package came pretty quickly, it arrived today...only to find that its just an empty box? Great, so now I have to deal with calling them up, explaining I only got an empty box, then sending my guitar in and hoping that they realize that they need to send me something back? Ugh...I was so excited on Thursday because I thought I'd have my new guitar today, and I was hoping the Les Paul patch would be posted so I could play 4 player....now to find out that I'm not going to have any working guitar this weekend. This whole thing just makes me want to power on GH3 again. I'm sick of this crap.

Heh... Maybe someone at UPS has a brand new Fender... :)

I was getting pretty fed up myself. I got an RMA about 6 hours after I got my bundle. Took them two weeks to "express" me a replacement. In the meanwhile I saw people on the forum getting an RMA *after* I did and gettin a replacement in four days.

At least I finally got mine. I hope you get your issue fixed soon!

Understand exactly how you feel mate.

They must have someone dyslexic working there, seriously. This has happened to quite a few people.

I just got my guitar and drums today. Glad nothing was mixed up. Both seem to work better, although I only played a couple songs with each.
They did forget my pedal for the drums though. Mine works fine so it's not a big deal, I just hope they don't expect one to be in the box when I send it back.

i did express and got an empty box today, just call them and they will send another guitar to you but keep the old box cause you need to send the old one back in that box cause when they send you the new guitar it wont have a return label

Hmm... took them one week to "normally replace" my pedal. Also I thought it would just be an empty box because of no CC# but they actually sent the pedal first...

Wow, this is ridiculous. I just got home and the crap keeps piling on. First EA said to check UPS for tracking information, which is of no help at all, and seemed to try to blow me off like I must have already received the guitar. Then my room mates let me know that Rock Band just completely froze and they can't get the disk to read any more. So sure enough I turn it on, and they're right. No disks I put in will show up in the XMB. Great. At least the PS3 has a 1 year warranty....

I am now the proud owner of three Fender Strats.

One is packaged and ready to return, one is the replacement I ordered Tuesday, and one is the second replacement from way back on the 21st.

As tempting as it is to keep the extra one (because I'm sure there are only two RMAs at work here), I may just hold onto it until the patch thing is resolved...
