I kno this is stupid* question but how do u improvse before overdrive on the instuments (i believe guitar is same as GH)?

Dude, you just play whatever you want, then you hit the cymbal (green pad) at the end. For extra oomph to the sound, I hit the green pad and the bass pedal at the same time. Sounds nice!

If you don't want the overdrive, just don't hit the last green note. Sometimes I save it if I know there's a tough part coming up.
