So is the game songlist categorized by decade?

In Guitar Hero the song setlist was categorized into tiers based on difficulty (for the most part). At the moment it looks like Rock Band's songlist is being put into tiers based on a said song's release decade. So this makes me wonder, will the career mode be played by gthe progression of rock through the years, starting in the 60's and ending in today? (The demo just listed songs in agiant unorganized pile though) With 40 songs this means 8 songs per tier. i'm not really sure if I like this organization of songs. It sounds ok but i'd rather progress based on difficulty.

Well,they might throw in a option on how you wanna do that, but change is always good. Plus you never know what the team has up their sleeve.

Hopefully it'll be like DDR where you can sort the songs differently, like by name, decade, difficulty tier, genre, etc.

I believe through career modes it will be done by song difficulty. I think in quick play though it might be done by decade, which is kind of cool. I'm not positive though, it's not like I've seen the game or anything.
