It'll be for the community site once it's up. (Hopefully in the next few days?) Basically it'll tie your game to your account on this site and people will be able to see your characters and stats and such.

That sounds pretty cool.

Sooo yea... Rock Band's mutiplayer really sucks. I can only play with people on my friends list. WTF is that.Uh, you can play with people that aren't on your friends list. You just go to "Find Players." Granted, you can pick who, specifically, you want to play with unless you use invites, but I'd much rather be automatically matched up with other people than have to wade through a bunch of different games only to find that they don't need a [whatever instruments I'm playing at the time].

For the versus modes though, I think a lobby is definitely necessary.

Where is my online lobby where i can meet new rockers? ...How am I supposed to meet new people to play with "across the world"?Assuming tha tyou have the 360 version, the people you play with should show up under the Players tab of your xbox live account. If you have a good time jamming with someone invite them to a voice chat or send them a friend request.

If you've got the PS3 version, like me, then you'll either have to remember or write down their name because for some reason it doesn't save to the "Players Met" list.

Not to mention that, once the community site is up, people will (supposedly) be able to browse other users' characters and bands.

So it sounds more like a PS3 online glitch than a Harmoinx issue that the original poster was *****ing about?...or the OP has a 360 and doesn't know how to use online very well yet. I dunno, this is the first person I've heard complain about this and the game has been out for three weeks now.
