Really anything by them would be sweet to see in Rock Band. The one I want to see most though is A Change of Seasons, even though it is a 23 minute song.

I'd also love to see Dream Theater in RB, but I'd gather that they'd do something like "Pull Me Under", "Take The Time", and "A Change of Seasons" would most likely be a DLC since they are the more well known and popular songs.
I agree though... ANYTHING by these guys would be fantastic!

Yes anything by Dream Theater would be an amazing set of DLC, I would download anything by them that Harmonix decided to put out.

I would download anything offered. As long as it's DT. But since were making a wish list. I'd go for something tasty and epic...songs like...Metropolis, Learning to Live, Home, The Spirit Carries On, Scarred, In the Name of God, and the ultimate choice: Six Degrees of Inner-Turbulence (The WHOLE song)

Bump for PLEASE make this happen. Dream Theater is easily one of the best metal bands around, and they deserve a bit of recognition to the mainstream. This is one of the best ways to do it.

This! DT are gods in terms of technical abilty. There's no arguing that even if you don't care for their kind of music. Each member of that band are like...P.h.d's of there instrument (figuretivly speaking of course) and as a band...it's a different kind of monster that is unlike anything the world has ever seen. if you need proof...go to youtube and check out songs like "The Glass Prison", "Metropolis", "Under a Glass Moon".

I would love to have some of their older songs on Rock Band like "Glass Moon", but I would also like to see some new stuff like "In the Presence of Enemies" part 1 or 2 or both even!

I think Strange Deja Vu has some serious Rock Band potential.

Others that would work are Pull Me Under (of course), These Walls, Lie, and As I Am.

I think they would have to choose shorter Dream Theater songs for Rock Band...

I'd love to see some of their medleys of covers to be honest...but obviously some of their originals too

Dream Theater is, to me, absolutely essential as DLC. they just fit much to well. Any song that has vocals would be an excellent choice for this game. I really hope Harmonix doesn't overlook the potential.

I don't think the length of the songs would be a major problem seeing as "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "And Justice for All" are 9 or so minutes long. I do doubt the epic 20 minute and uppers would be included, but I can dream.

ANYTHING by DT!!! and they've already done a bit of business with XBL (Game With Fame or W/E) So who knows...but i wouldn't go as far as to say dream theater has popular songs as in "the one they play on the radio all the time" cause i never hear theater on the radio. but as long as we're making wishes...Fatal Tragedy, Beyond this Life, Home, Pull me under, Metropolis, Change of Season, honor thy father, in the name of god, the ones who helped to set the sun, the Ytse Jam, take the time, wait for sleep,The Mirror ,Lie, Lifting Shadows Off A Dream, Scarred, Space-Dye Vest, The Big Medley, Hell's Kitchen, Lines In The Sand, Take Away My Pain, Just Let Me Breathe, Peruvian Skies, Hollow Years, Overture 1928, Strange Deja Vu, through her eyes, the dance of eternity, and just for ****s and giggles lets go with the whole train of thought album...yeah, thats nice and rounded there!

The only two Dream Theater songs I have ever heard on FM radio (and I don't listen to much) were As I Am and Under a Glass Moon.

Anyway, those two "radio hits" would be great!

I'm not exactly sure, but I'm pretty sure both times it was 101.1 WRIF in Detroit. Don't worry, they certainly don't play much Dream Theater.

OMG, I want that song! I would pay 800 pts for it!!! I have a dream theater tattoo by my neck, of the heart in barbed wires in flames from the album, Images and Words.

Really? I listen to the WRIF pretty often and I've never heard these songs on it.

yes, it would be AWESOME to have dream theater on rock band. especially if they picked some of the crazier stuff that a lot of people would download because they would be known as some of the most challenging songs on rock band. this would just be amazing. knowing the DT fanbase, i bet a fair number of DT fans would actually pick up a console just to get this game just to download the DT songs.

Oh! Here's an idea. If material from the JR era or any songs that are keyboard led are selected...I think the bass parts should switch to keyboards when the solos come up. That would be a really fun twist that would keep things interesting for the player that has the bass parts (Not that JM bass is boring). That would make songs like "The Glass Prison" crazy to play when to get to that solo trade off about 9 min. in.

You can just tell yourself your playing the Zen Riffer. :)

I know right? That would make things interesting for the whole band!

If that were to be the case I would suggest songs like The Glass Prison, In the Presence of Enemies Pt. 1 & 2., Constant Motion, Endless Sacrifice, Beyond This Life...I don't know.

You tell me what songs would be good for that bass/keys switch.

Blind Faith would work really well. Octavarium (Probably too long, but I can dream). Learning to Live. Those are my only ideas at the moment.

I would never stop playing Rock Band if they made DT DLC. They should definitely at least have Take The Time and Systematic Chaos, the epics would be nice, but I also doubt they'd make those.

Somewhere like a scene from a memory lies a picture of a thousand words! Metropolis pt. 1 Would be great, bass solo, guitar solo, awesome vox and of course Mike Portnoy. Make it HAPPEN!

Octavarium would definitely be my favorite to play, I get the chills every time I hear the guitar solo at the end, I'd call it more of a composition than just a song, same with A Change of Seasons. Some other suggestions: Metropolis pt. 1, Peruvian Skies, The Glass Prison, Learning to Live, Home. I would also love to play Stream of Consciousness or Dance of Eternity, but they have no singing so I don't think they'd make it into the game.

Do you think if they were do make one of DT's epics (A Change of Seasons, Octavarium, In the Presence of Enemies) would it be PART of a DLC or THE DLC? It would be very difficult to produce those songs for Rock Band...and given how long they are. I wouldn't be surprised if just one is released by itself. But then again...how bad ass would it be if A Change of Seasons, Octavarium, and In The Presence of Enemies were bundled together as a DLC?

It would probably be the DLC unless they wanted to make one that was really expensive. I would definitely download those three bundled together.

I love my Dream Theater.

My top choices:

2. As I Am (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2LxwekDdfHg)

3. Peruvian Skies (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7KgOC8SiVw)

Or perhaps, the whole of Images and Words DLC. I can dream, can't I?

These three tracks would make for an amazing DLC pack. I eally hope that they make it on to RB sometime soon. I really think DT would be all for it.

This is my first post but I have to say Dream Theater is my most wanted band for DLC! I would love Panic Attack, The Glass Prison, or anything off Train of Thought but anything would make me really happy.

While DT would be lovely on RB, I think the hardware creators should first come up with individual high-performance instrument like hardcore drum-kit with double pedals, and awesome slick guitar.

But if that won't happen, i'll go buy another bundle just to get the extra padel. IF DT's songs ever make it to the DLC list T_T.

WTB Dream Theater songs for Rock Band, please...

Whatever song(s) it would be. ANY Dream Theater song would be incredible. But if i could throw out a few titles...

-Strange DejaVu (coupled with Overture 1928 if possible)

-Forsaken

-New Millennium

-Constant Motion

-The Root of All Evil

Dream Theater is a great suggestion. There are also other progressive/progressive metal bands I'd like to see in Rock Band as this genre is not too well represented.

Symphony X would be another good Dream Theater type band to include... 'Paradise Lost' and 'Communion and the Oracle' would be my choice songs... Also 21st Century Schizoid Man by King Crimson, some more Rush.

And anyone for 'In-a-gadda-da-vida'? :)

Hi there, while you're dreaming about a Dream Theater pack, we European are still waiting the Rock Band game... :( that's absurd.
But I agree, Dream Theater is my favourite group, so it will be fantastic to play anything from this great band.
If I could choose a song, I will say "Metropolis" for its incredible instrumental part.
I agree about the "progressive pack", but I think the best way to create it, is to put King Crimson songs, Yes songs and Genesis songs.
Dream Theater may will be in a pack with Queensryche and Porcupine tree... :D

But a DT pack would be an instant buy here.
