Rockband 2 USB dongle issue

Hi,

I have bought the RB2 guitar to complete my RB1 kit.
Unfortunately, when I connect more than two devices with the RB2 guitar USB dongle the WII tells me that I cannot connect more than four devices :confused:

I tried to update the firmware of my WII but no improvment.

Is somebody has an idea?

Only having 2 guitar dongles plugged in along with the mic and drums.
If you have a usb hub that allows more usb ports make sure it is plugged into the #1 usb port on back of the wii. Have the mic plugged into the other. Now in the usb hub have your guitars plugged in along with the drums. If you have extra dongles disconnect them. Now when you load rockband make sure only 1 wii controller is lit up. Also Your rockband 1 guitar dongles will not sync with the new rockband 2 guitar. That is assuming you bought the official licensed Strat. If you bought 3rd party guitars that require a wii controller then Disconnect any usb dongles for any guitars that you aren't using. If the 4 controller message happens during game play look for one of your wii remotes to be on. If you find one on that you aren't using press the + button on that one.

Hope this helps a bit. My Rb2 dongle for my new strat walked away. Cheapest I can find one on Ebay is around 35 dollars. I think its dumb that the rockband 1 dongles do not sync with the RB2 wireless strats. =(
