Just found that on the GH forums. Apparantly, they say this line in it:
"There will be a PSP Guitar Hero game that would feature a drum component."
(Emphasis added)
So, what do you think?
Yes or no to the game?
Yes to a drum track, or yes to a drum controller? "Component" sounds fishy to me.

The music war between rock band and guitar hero is like playing follow the leader. Harmonix is the leader and Nevervision is the follower.

yes because it's not like Guitar Hero on Tour was successful and they want to dominate the handheld market also.

I'm rather surprised they didn't beat HMX to that market, actually.

Doesn't necessarily mean there will be a drum peripheral. They could do it via button presses like RB Unplugged. But we'll probably know for sure when it is shown at E3.

Woofmix got it completely right. There's really nothing else that can be said on this topic.

Then in interviews Brian Bright will be saying:
Brian Bright: "We're the first company to be bringing the full band experience to the PSP"
Interviewer: "But Rock Band: Unplugged is already out for PSP"
Brian Bright: "Well, we call it Guitar Hero"

And all the fanboys will buy the GH version.
It's why i hate Activision. And everybody who helps makes the GH games.

As an economist specializing in antitrust and regulatory economics, I cringe whenever I hear the phrase "dominate the market", mainly because, if a corporate official talks in that way, it's usually a one-way ticket to getting the FTC to start asking questions.
That being said, GH On Tour fit the market well. The fact that there was a market for it at all, considering the technical limitations of the DS, is another story.

GH:OT is a blast actually- if they can tweak the strumming enough the game could only get better.
I'd love to try RB: Unplugged though- looks interesting

Yeah, On Tour does a lot of interesting things... the main limitation, of course, is the DS' hardware. It just wasn't meant for a game like that.

didn't HMX copy Neersoft first by making a handheld game?
