does the fact that some people arent allowed to use curse words limit which songs can be in the game... because that would really suck

I don't think so, they just censor the lyrics or change them in a cover. you could also replace the real curse words in the lyrics when your singing if you really wanted to. I'm sure the game won't punish you for swearing

Well...hmm...I dunno.

Main Offender has ass and Suffragette City has some stuff as well. But I doubt it. The game has already been rated which suggest that the ESRB has had a good amount of hands-on with a good amount of content.

Yea, the ESRB rating is T for Lyrics, and Mild Suggestive Themes, so if your not a Teen,or Guardian isnt aware of the rating, maybe those people shouldn't play?

of course the language in the song affects it.

Oh man, I hope theres a way to avoid editing, like a rating difference on each song or something, besides walmart being an evil empire, that is a reason i dont shop there...they edit movies/music. Or have it edited to sell it.

This ****ty 'family values' is completely a 20th century construction and needs to go away!

No one rocks saying 'darn or fudge'.

If you are really that worried about it

Either play when your parents aren't home
Just change the word a little bit so that it doesn't regognize the difference
or just plain miss the note, it's just one note, you don't need to get perfect on everything

I'm a person who doesn't appreciate profanity, but I can understand that some people don't mind it and have listened to these songs unedited for ages. In my opinion, editing out the swear words is the best option, because ultimately is caters to both sides: it allows for a Teen rating which increases the amount of people who can play the game, it allows those of us who don't like profanity to not hear it, but at the same time those who prefer the profanity to still swear. You can still say the word, even if there is a slight pause in the music track where it would be.

So it's rated T for Teen for Lyrics and Mild Suggestive Themes... What does that mean? Will that mean a few "sh*ts" and the occasional "f**k"? Plus a few sexual references I suppose.

If it is teen, there will not be "f**ks" and probably not any "s**ts". I doubt even very many "a**es". Honestly, due to ESRB's recent "crackdown" on their ratings, I would assume that, to get a teen rating, there won't be many swear words.
