Hello.
I searched but wasn't able to find what I was looking for. So if there is a thread on this already, I would greatly appreciate a link to it,
I am not very good at playing yet, only playing on Medium consistently with a few hours of Hard rolled in.
I would like more information on set-up and use of my Rock Band 2 Wireless Drums with the MadCatz Cymbals (2 cymbals).
I'm currently using the cymbals for Yellow and Green. I noticed there is a blue and a black plug on the back of the drums. I assume the blue is for another cymbal, but what is the black plug for? I don't have the manual with me currently, so if its listed in there, I apologize.
Anyone else using the MadCatz cymbals have any suggestions? Is using the cymbals for yellow and green the best setup or yellow and blue? Should I have gone with the 3 cymbal kit?
Thanks

I use the MadCatz cymbal kit with 2 cymbals. Right now I have it set up for Yellow on the left, green on the right, but I think I'm going to change that to yellow and green on the right hand side, with yellow being the left-most, and add a third on the left for the blue. It's all just really personal preference in my opinion since the game registers the cymbal-hits the same as the corresponding pad. It's more of they sound cool during the fills, and not much else. I do like the more realistic drum feel they give though.
I'm just sticking with the stock RB2 drums and those cymbals. I love playing, but I don't think I'll ever go crazy and get the ION drum kit or a real one.
The black plug on the back of the drum kit is not used for anything right now. I think it's a reserve plug for future development, so we may or may not see anything that utilizes it.
