Throw this question into the hopper of about 10 other stupid things Harmonix has done recently.



Sort of like how they announced a patch for the PS3 version of Rock Band would be available on Monday of this week, but here we are on Saturday and the thing still hasn't been released.

They announced that they would finish it and release it by Monday of this week. They have lived up to their part of the deal (even though there was no deal, explicitly or implicitly implied). They were doing you all a favor, they had everything ready when they said they would, and it's up to Sony to distribute it. Stop hating on a team that listens to insulting demands on the forums all day and still manages to try to please everyone. I'm not a Harmonix fanboy, but jeez, cut them some slack.

they never announced a release date, they just confirmed that the album would be available for download in the future.. my guess would be early 2008

This is a quote from the origanal news stoy in July.

" Who's Next will be the first album available for Rock Band owners to purchase soon after the game's release with new content planned every week following Rock Band's launch this Holiday. "

I was just looking for an answer from a MOD.

DLC: Where are the Who's Next / Nevermind Albums?

According to press releases, Who's Next is sleighted to be the first full album download on Rock Band. No specific timetable has been given when it will be launched, simply that it will be the first of it's kind. With a DLC content schedule posted for the duration of 2007, one would speculate the release to be early 2008 at the soonest.
