GH Encores? Anyone? No? *sigh*

Any songs from previous GH game that you'd like to see come back in Rock Band?

I can think of a few actually.

FTK (*sigh* Radio Edit)
Trogdor
Graveyard Shift

After carefully trying to see if any of these songs were worth rehashing with vocals and drums I must say they truly do deserve an encore.

Trogdor is so pathetic. You can't even laugh at it, it's just to painfull a song. If you can call it a song. Actually, I wouldn't mind haveing Thunderhorse and Carry on Wayword Son back, those songs were great. But of course, they NEED Lordi in the game. They just NEED them.

The Beast and The Harlot (avenged sevenfold) for sure...it's fun to play on guitar, it has a sweet drum beat, and it would be fun to sing along to...
Hangar 18 (megadeth) is another must...again, its fun to play guitar, the drums sound good...and it is something that you would enjoy singing...
Push Push Lady Lightning (Bang camaro)...This is one of those really entertaining songs that must be added to the game...
The Light That Blinds (Shadows Fall)...I absolutely love the beat and rythym of this song...The Drums have a phenomenal beat...and the guitarist's part is also very fun

I'd like to play Ace of Spades again, as well as Elephant Bones, John the Fisherman, and War Pigs. I hope they make older songs available for Rock Band, though with a better model than they have for the 360 downloads.

I'd prefer new Kansas and Dethklok tracks. Thunderhorse has some vocals, but Duncan Hills Coffee Jingle (or Deththeme) would be better for everyone.

And Kansas has so many great songs that are overshadowed by their big hits. I'd love Child of Innocence or Icarus (Borne on Wings of Steel), especially since that means I get an all-new guitar track.

If you're going to have old content, I'd rather have it as DLC and we get all-new content in the actual game.

I'd actually not prefer songs from previous games, there is so much great music out there, even tons more from bands already in the GH games. I would much rather new stuff all the time and only have retreads as downloadable content.

As downloadable content there are too many songs of past GH fame that i would want to list. They picked a lot of great songs so far. Some overplayed songs yes, but so far i have been pretty suprised at some of the choices.

The Megadeth and Black Sabbath songs for sure (Iron Man, War Pigs, Symphony of Destruction, Hangar 18).

I'd also want More Than a Feeling and Carry On Wayward Son. Great classic rock songs.

OH! You watch Metalocalypse, right? Did you see the season finaly? The song "Go into the water" was SO epic. They NEED that song. If they can get thunderhorse, they can most defenantly get Go into the water.

Killing In the Name by RATM. It's just really fun to play. And since I never played GH1 I'd want Bark at the Moon and Ironman on there.

I'd definitely like some of them to be available as DLC, there are lots of fun classic songs on both GHs. Off the top of my head I'd love Sweet Child of Mine, Killing in the Name, More than a Feeling, I Wanna be Sedated, Carry on Wayward Son.

All the tracks there werent masters........but as masters on Rock Band. (Im thinking The Trooper and Wrathchild here........but especially some of the others, like Killing in the Name.)
....having said that, the GH1 covers were excellent, I dont know why WaveGroup or whoever started making awful ones afterwards.........though I do know that The Trooper was done by a tribute band...unfortunately it wasnt a very good one, singing wise.

In all honesty, I quite liked the covers of Wrathchild and The Trooper. They were very well done, even through not up to the calibre of the originals of course.

This is coming from a guy who is quite obsessed with Iron Maiden. I have all of their albums and am frantically looking for a copy of "Eddies Archives" (damned limited editions!).

I'm quite stoked for Run To The Hills and look forward to more Maiden DLC, even if it is just covers. Enhances the feeling of being in your own band

Symphony of Destruction, Cowboys from Hell, Police Truck, Search and Destroy, Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You Tonight, and Beast and the Harlot would be so amazing to have in Rock Band. I wish they would put any Spinal Tap song into the game though, theyre such an amazing fake band.

Also, YYZ would be really good, though I'm not sure whether they would do any songs without vocals.

Killing in the Name of would be a really fun track too (as long as it keeps the original lyrics).

Spanish Castle Magic (the original version) would be great too, though there are probably better Hendrix songs.

I'd like to see most of the tracks from the 3 harmonix made GH games. Though really, only about 5 songs from rocks the 80's personally. But I say make em all available as DLC.

I would get all of the track from the previous GH's if they were available. I would be able to chuck my PS2 and SG's.

War Pigs would be a great song for RockBand anyway. Lots of them would, especially from GH1.
