The Beatles, Rock Band and Lips Microphones

I'm really excited about the three part harmony feature in TB:RB but not so much if it means I am going to have to spend money on even more peripherals

I own RB1 and RB2 and the and a full set of instruments (3 guitars actually) I also own Lips with it's 2 microphones so that would give me three.

I'm wondering if there has been any official word on whether or not the Lips microphones will be supported in TB:RB?

I did try searching the forum but did not find a definitive answer

This is the most definite info I can find. There's a lot of rumor about this, though, so I'm e-mailing the author to see if he actually tried this out himself, or if it's just hearsay.

I completely forgot about this post in an Interview with the developers at E3 one of them clearly states that the Lips mics on the 360 and the Singstar Mics on the playstation are compatible

Right you are, and a very smart move considering lots of folks already own these microphones and are eager to use them for another game that isn't Lips or Singstar :)
