I'm buying this. Definitely. Samus is awesome. Simply that. And not just because she's a chick in tight latex fighting monsters in space. It helps but there's more.

I've never gotten through a Metroid game (because I suck at anything that falls into the "not GH/RB" genre and because the last one I played was Metroid Prime 1, so I'm out of practice) but this looks effing awesome. Also, Mario and Luigi 3!

Ok we don't know if Sylux will be in "Other M". It's a guess though that Sylux could possibly be the guy that says "remeber me" in the trailer. Anyways I finally analyzed the trailer and wrote down some key points and important info in the trailer. Let's start.

0:40 - The captain says "Any Objections Lady"? If anybody played Metroid Fusion, this quote should look very familiar. As Samus tells flash backs in Metroid Fusion, one of the first ones she talks about is how the computer (which was giving her orders in Fusion) reminded her a lot about her former CEO, Adam Malckovich. She finds out later when the computer says the exact same thing that it is powered by Adam's brain. Samus thought Adam was dead after he sacraficed his life in a previous mission (way before Zero Mission). This new game could possibly be a prequal to Zero Mission, but I think the the Adam scene is a flash back Samus is having. I also think this because notice that Samus's hair looks much shorter than the next scene when we see her in the Zero Suit. However chances are this isn't a sequal to Fusion because Samus isn't wearing the Fusion suit (Yes she still had the Fusion suit at the end of the game). But you never know

0:55 - We see Samus fighting a giant creature. However in the background you can see the "rebels" which we get a better look at in the next scene of the trailer. However they are shooting at the creature, not Samus.

0:59 - In what looks like an in-game cutscene, we see a bunch of guys in black suits and yellow visors aiming their weapons at Samus, these are the same "rebels" who were shooting at the creature in the last scene.

1:01 - This is sure different, the camera has now switched to a first person view (like the Prime games). We see Samus fighting the exact same huge creature I have mentioned but it has switched to a first person view. We then see Samus use the Ice beam to freeze what appears to be the creature's arm, then blow it to bits with the missile launcher.

1:07 - Yup! it's Ridley, no doubt about that. A bit farther in we see him slamming Samus against a wall (I swear this cut scene looks a lot like the Brawl cut scene right before the Ridley battle) I wonder if Kraid will be in this new game also?

1:11 - Samus uses the Speed Booster to break through some Ice. The camera has switched from side-side to Front-Back, this along with the first person view is making me wonder if we will have something similar to Super Paper Mario, that would be tight!

1:12 - Samus is in an environment that looks kind of like Norfair, the camera is still at the front-back style, and then a huge monster comes up out of nowhere and nearly chomps Samus.

1:14 - This is who a lot of people (including me) think is Sylux. This guy is wearing the same gear as the "rebels" who obviously hate Samus (just like Sylux I must add). The fact that he says "remember me" could possibly indicate fighting him in Hunters. However we don't know for sure if he is Sylux, this is just a guess, besides he isn't even wearing the armor suit.

1:16 - Samus is fighting a space pirate (it's the old skool style from Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, and Metroid: Zero Mission, this one resembles the pirate's from Fusion better though). Also notice that Samus has the Varia Suit instead of the Power Suit.

1:19 - Mother Brain, nuf said. This looks more like CG rather than gameplay.

1:21 - In a CG cut scene, we hear a random voice out nowhere say "time to go". Escape sequence? Maybe.

1:31 - We see Samus standing over what looks like a dead body (it's hard to tell with the distortion though). We see a woman looking at Samus from a window.

1:33 - The woman is about to type an input code at a computer. It has the Galactic Federation insignia on it. The computer also says "Living Body Arms Development Lab". We see the same woman standing in front of Samus while she is at the computer.

1:35 - The camera is panned on Samus now. The camera rumbles and she looks to the right. We see the woman exiting the lab and see... Samus? But she was just standing behind the woman? Could the S.A.X be back?

1:36 - The woman is very shocked to see another Samus crouching, the second Samus stands up and says "I'm Samus Aran".

1:44 - Could this game possibly come out in 2010. lol.

No self-respecting Nintendo fan would say they don't like Mario platformers and RPGs, Zelda or Metroid. Those are the defining games of Nintendo's legacy- especially Ocarina of Time and Mario Galaxy.
