GT5 has the NASCAR License?
EA just might as well throw their NASCAR game out the window because ever with a major overhaul it won't compete.

You'd be surprised how many rednecks would still buy the NASCAR game over GT5. You'd also be surprised at how many rednecks have Playstation 3's.

ALSO WRC LICENSE
This is a HUUUUUGE catch for GT5 that will make it THE racing game.

Maybe EA should work on the next iteration of NASCAR for about four years, then release a glorified demo for $40, then continue to work on the full game for another two years...

They've been doing the Prologue thing in Japan for years. Blame the bumbling idiots over here that asked for a release in the US for that.

Hmm... NASCAR style racing with a grand total of- what was it? Five other cars on the track?- Hell no.

EA announced a LONG time ago they were no longer interested in renewing the exclusive nascar license. It was stated last year that Nascar 09 would be the last EA nascar game.
Old news is old.

Thank goodness. Nascar is horrible. I still to this day don't understand the appeal of that sport.

I used to be a die hard fan. I stopped watching at the end of last year. It's horrible now. The only thing worse were the horrible EA games.

Do people still blow up in NASCAR? If that's the case then it's worth a watch!

I didn't know that. Good because their NASCAR games were the definition of "re-skin and release".
