I have the same problem. Except for the fact that my account was never deleted. All I did was buy a new xbox and plug my hard drive into it. Now all of a sudden half of my dlc won't work and I get that same stupid message. They really need to do something about this. XBOX Live won't even recognize any of the songs I've already downloaded but over half of them still work.

I did a search on this before I started a thread. I think someone has posted a link to a fix for the xbox, it will perform some type of license transfer.

Im getting ready to pull my hair out. I sent an email to rockband through the "contact us" tab. they sent me a response saying check the forum...gotta love the tech support...they got us by the balls! or if your a chick..by the ....nevermind.:o

You need to get the rights transfered over to your new 360.
About the ps3 no clue.

This happened to me recently, and there was only one way to fix it:

1 - Go to the Game Data Utility folder in the XMB
2 - Delete your RB1 data
3 - You're going to have to log into the account with which you originally purchased all those songs, go to "View Downloads" in the PlayStation Store and download them again.

You said your roommate deleted your profile while attempting to create their own...your roommate needs a good roundhouse to the head ;). If you can't remember your account info, go to http://www.us.playstation.com/ click Log In at the top of the page and then click Forgot Password. You might end up having to call Sony, but they can get you your account info once they verify your identity.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot, I forgot my password of course, so thanks again for the link. ~~keeping fingers crossed~~

When I delete the rockband data, do i need to do any activate or deactivate stuff?
