The vocalists would be like "WTF!!?" And it would take them a long time to master the song and what not. Unless ofcourse they knew japanese or was a big fan of the song and knew the lyrics!

I agree, that would be the only thing that holds this back. But hey, there's the chance they would want to release this overseas, and this is a good start.

I've alwayw thought the ultimate set-opener for a guitar game would be the intro to Trigun (Destroying Angel by The Donuts).
Just over 90 seconds long, fantastic guitar, drums and bass, unfortunately there's no vocal there (though tbh I can't imagine singing in Japanese).

I'd want some Guitar Wolf and the pillows. Both bands know how to rock out. Singing the lyrics to any Japanese rock probably wouldn't interest most people, but having some as downloadable tracks would be great.

I'm not big l'arc, but I loves me some Dir en Grey. One thing I've noticed about them is hearing the wrong songs by them can create a bad impression. They're a very different band to say the least and very much an aquired taste by most.

I think there should be Japanese music in Rock band one of my favourite bands is Japanese however they perform all there lyrics in English they are called Galneryus they are a licensed band who are quite big in japan and are becoming known worldwide

As well as this i think some songs from two other Japanese bands should be put into rock band Dir en grey and rentrer en soi both these bands perform there lyrics in japanese however they rock hard and are well know globally not very long ago Dir en grey performed in America and England and around the world and had a big audience.

I wouldn't mind some japanese rock in Rock Band, I really like some of the stuff you posted, it would be cool to see them in the game. Maybe they'll be available for DLC. Only problem with that is how are people going to sing in japanese? I think that might be a little hard.

I don't know much about japanese rock or pop for that matter. But I do know about the greatest japanese rock band alive.......Guitar Wolf.

There is even a zombie movie about them called Wild Zero. It has a built in drinking game. Though it is not recommended to watch the movie sober.

I'd love to see Guitar Wolf in the game, I just don't quite know how it would work.

You've gotta love J-Rock and J-Metal.

I propose having Deathgaze and Maximum the Hormone in the game. Deathgaze are probably not the type of band to include, quite dark, heavy, and brutal (maybe they'd be perfect actually!), but Maximum the Hormone would be awesome.

well..L'Arc~en~Ciel and Judy and Mary would be good band choices for jrock cuz they got some songs with english lyrics and stuff...but yea...if ur gonna put japanese songs on this game...put it in the bonus list like how they have a bonus list in guitar hero...a japanese song from a japanese band that every jrocker knows of...somethnig either from the pillows, asian kung fu generation, l'arc~en`ciel...or dir en grey...seeing as these happen to be the most popular Jrock(not jpop) bands in america and anyone whos a jrocker will recognize these bands...or anyone who watches adult swim XD

Wah, wah, wah. The whole point of games like this is to find songs that you like as well as songs you've never heard before. If you like the songs you don't know, you learn 'em. It's not like you'd have to learn what the Japanese lyrics meant. I'd say it'd be smart of Rock Band to put out three songs on the game and then more as DLC later. As for K-Rock... I'd LOOOVE to get some Lee Jung Hyun (BAN!).
