I've seen a few threads on the subject, but they tend to not get answered and sink into oblivion much like this thread may... There seems to be a problem where the 360 headsets refuse to function as Xbox Live headsets with Rock Band's instruments. Particularly, Rock Band's drum kit. Is this a problem that has been fixed with newer drum kits? Can this be fixed with a patch? If the problem has not yet been addressed, when may myself and others expect the issue to be rectified?
Again, put plainly, Xbox 360 headsets, when plugged into Rock Band instruments, fail to register as communicable devices. Please lend some advice.

I might have your solution. Try just plugging up a regular 360 controller, and just talk through there.. Maybe it will work? If not im sorry.

I honestly don't know whether you're being sarcastic here or not, so to avoid being offensive... No. That won't work.
