I have played drums for a number of years now but i would still class myself steady learner of a number styles of playing. What i would like to know is given i am yet to receive my bundle as but hopefully soon. Is i have noticed that the drum pads are set out next to each other, But when i play drums for example i would have my right arm crossing my left arm.
So right hand would play the high hat, and and left hand play the snare. How is the process played through Rock Band.
I know its a silly question but given i haven't received my bundle yet
replies would be most welcomed

well, you don't cross arms in this.
The left "Red" drum is the snare.
And usually the Blue drum is the highHat.
But, the pads magically become whatever drum sound they need, since drummers have more then 4 pads, so they alternate into different drums, But, the "Red" is always the snare.

But, the "Red" is always the snare.
Correction, the red is *usually* the snare. There are a few songs where the yellow pad takes over that job (Not sure exactly, I believe Orange Crush and Run to the Hills do this)
This also means that while in most songs, the red and kick are weighted more heavily (score wise)....in those particular tracks the yellow and kick are most important.
