#1.. Activision got this right the first time, but you guys seem to have missed it after 3 games.. when you're in a tour mode, and you go to practice.. quitting out should take you back to where you were, not all the way out to the main screen. How often do you finish practicing and then want to quit playing altogether? Don't you think once we practice we want to go back and play the game? I hope after playing GH3 maybe you figured this out for next time but in case you haven't, now you have.

#2.. the practice mode needs some indicator (preferably visual) that you're actually hitting the notes right or not. Because your game tends to give you some of the sounds even when you don't hit things, and the percentage meter doesn't change on every note depending on the song, you can't really tell when it's going fast if you're doing it right or not.

#2b.. it'd be nice to have some indicator of how you're actually doing overall in the song, not just the percentage but if you would actually be passing the song or not. Especially considering #1 it gets so tedious practicing, exiting out of the tour entirely, going back in, trying the song, failing, and going back to practice.. a little more user friendliness would help.

The main problem I have with practice mode is the songs are broken up too much. The only problem I have with any Metallica song is the solo, but in practice mode they break the solos up into smaller pieces, and what I really need to be able to practice is my endurance in getting through the entire solo without a break. It would really be helpful to me to be able to just pick the spots I want to start and stop in the song.

you should look into the way percentage works. that might give you an answer as to how the counter works

ya...also, u can select the start and end spots, so just select the entire solo and itll keep looping the entire solo so u can practice it...i do have to say tho, the ability to change speed without exiting out of practice is nice.
