That sounds like a plot for a bad porno movie...

ANYWAY, I have heard of people successfully doing this, from a friend.

I know there's at least one rocker on this site who's done it. He used a headphone splitter. He posted a pic. I think it was in CigDangle's first thread on his mod for muting the drum pads. Try a search.

I don't have the splitter, but I am going to try it. i DO, however, have an electronic drum kit that came with two pedals, and the connections are identical. I had my kid try it and it works!

The only oddity is that while the RB pedal has lots of action, the electronic pedal is super sensitive, so it takes some getting used to. The drum kit is the ION brand, incidentally.

Christ, ANOTHER thread about double-kick? Use the "search" function, folks... But just in case you don't, here's the standard reply:

Why do you want double kick pedals for the game? No song in the current list (or DLC) requires double bass, and all of them CAN be played with single.

You think it's hard learning to coordinate just 3 of your limbs (arm, arm, leg)? Try 4!

Having 2 kick pedals doesn't make playing these note charts easier, people! It'll just add more confusion to your body, which doesn't even know how to coordinate 3 limbs yet, let alone 4.

Everybody should be concentrating on how to learn a single kick before they even THINK about adding another. And if you're a real-life drummer who already can play double bass, then you should already know you don't need it in any of these current songs.

Well, I dunno about all that. Some songs on expert have quite a few bass kicks right after another. I play double bass on real drums and yes its hard to use 3 limbs on rockband...but when you play drums you use all 4 either way for the highhat or double bass.

For example...on expert, the metallica songs and the coheed song had nice sections where double bass could be used. I'm sure some of the download content is going to get harder. I know every single DLC metallica is hard as crap on expert.

So yes, double bass would be nice to have for certain instances.

it does work i tried it early this week HOWEVER you must realize they do not work as two separate entities they are just two inputs sending the same signal..

Example: Bass1 is Down
Bass2 cannot function till Bass1 is lifted
Thus this eliminates the option of playing foot down and lifting it for notes

it does help with the fast notes but its all about breaking that mental block that thinks all limbs should move in unison can be done though just takes a lil more practice
