So everyone is talking about how their down strum stops working or double strums, but I have something really different.
My wireless adapter is plugged into my PS3 and its light is blinking. Then, after turning on the guitar with the switch on the back, the game scrolls down to the bottom option (depending on what screen I'm in). Thinking that it was the guitar, I turned it off and tried to scroll back up with a normal controller, but that didn't do anything. Afterwards, I decided to unplug the wireless adapter, which allowed me to scroll upwards once again.
tl;dr : My guitar / adapter scrolls down until I unplug all the guitar stuff.
Everything else works perfectly fine, and I don't really want to send the guitar in if I don't have to. HELP!

I'm kinda not understanding your issue. How would the guitar work without the wireless adapter? You said after you unplugged it, you could scroll up. And also, unless you enter the menu with the controller, you cannot scroll using it. You have to press red until you are back to the page that says press start.
If i'm understanding correctly, sounds like a broken guitar. Kinda like the N64 how the controller would automatically go down. IDK thopuh

As I said, I used a normal controller to scroll back up.
And yeah, you're right about the whole N64 controller thing. All it does is scroll downwards until I unplug the wireless thing and turn off the guitar. No one else has this problem so I'm not sure if its just a user error or something beyond that.

idk, seems like its sending a constant signal to the reciever to go down. The only thing i can reccomend to u is to use the N64 style of blowing into the usb slot and the reciever. If that doesnt work, call ea and explain the situation your having, they can either help you fix it, or replace the guitar if needed. 650-628-1001

I blew into everything. I resynced the guitar to the wireless adapter. I unplugged everything and plugged it back in. I'm not sure what to do anymore. Hm.
