View Full Version : How was Conan's first week?

I thought he started a bit bumpy, but Wednesday's show and after all felt like the Conan I remembered from Late Night. Andy was a surprise and I must say I wasn't too fond of bringing him back. He hasn't grown on me, yet, but he doesn't annoy me.

I'm glad to see the show is keeping almost everything from Late Night such as the Year 2000 which was slightly changed to the Year 3000. They also kept Celebrity Survey and Conan still goes out and takes a film crew with him to goof off. I'm glad they also kept the whole band and they still make fun of Max and La Bamba. Overall, I'm very pleased with the show.

Also, did anyone see Chickenfoot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chickenfoot) last night? Pretty awesome.

What do you guys think?

I thought it was a really good first week, although I only watched 2 or 3 episodes. And Chickenfoot was really sweet, but honestly I expected a little more from them.

I thought the Thursday show was the weakest, that being said, I missed some of the Tuesday, and all of yesterdays show.

tuesday was definitely the best one IMO. i love tom hanks and green day, so of course i'm biased for that night.

Its essentially the same show, just in LA, which is perfect really. He was funny at 12:30 and he'll be as funny at 11:30

I didn't really mean the guests, I meant more the show itself. But, my favorite guest was Gwenyth Paltrow only because she is hot as crap.

Good first week. I was happy they are keeping the bits from Late Night and slowly integrating them in. I was afraid Conan would change everything.

Now all that's left is to remove Richter and talk to Max like he did on Late Night.

Conan is the man. The show wouldn't be the same without Max.
