I was just sitting here thinking about band names (I've already thought of mine (and no I won't tell you (because you'll steal it just to anger me))) and I thought of a band name......"The Hitlers" ...It sounds stupid and disgusting, but you just know that some idiots will take it the FIRST DAY! anybody agree? disagree?

Lol I bet we're going to see alot of weird band names. People are ofcourse going to mess around with it like always to make others laugh but other people will have more serious names. Personally I think eventually people will get the idea to name their band after the founder or vocalist :D

And ofcourse unless Harmonix does anything against copyright names there will be bands named Metallica, Led Zepplin, and stuff like that.

Nuclear Bakery!

I thought it up in my 12th grade German class last spring...I was looking through the book and I came upon 'atomar' which means nuclear in english, and I just paired it with the word for bakery (Die Atomar Bäckerei) and I thought "hmmmm...this sounds like a band name...a GOOD band name, HEY!!!!" :D

How exactly is this whole band name thing going to work for online play? Is it similar to Xbox Live Gamertags, where once it's taken nobody else can use it? I mean, what does it matter how awesome your band name is if somebody can see it online and then instantly make their own knockoff version, with a similar logo?

I hope you actually have to register it. That way, I'll be securing my band name on day one... assuming the bulky package doesn't delay delivery time.

I would hope that once a band name is taken, for as long as that band stays together that name will be off limits, because if we have like 5 bands with the same name running around, it will be confusing and annoying.

The only thing that is going to get me mad is the fact that you'll prob be in alot of bad bands for a while maybe. Or well some of us anyway. Meaning that like that band will prob disperse soon or the players might stop playing and stuff like that. Which is why I'm hoping that you'll be able to be in multiple bands but I don't know. All I DO know though is that I'm going to be the creator of my band. I don't have any names yet though.

yeah I was thinking of that too....but the trouble is making the muffin look like a mushroom cloud while still looking like a muffin...it would require some fine details and I do not know how powerful the band logo creator in Rock Band will be......mushroomcloud coming out of oven is probably more practical...although I'll figure it out later I guess, lol
