as I have been moving around the forums i have noticed that there are a few out there like me who think Anthrax would make a great addition to Rock Band. after all they already were in guitar hero 2. I would like to see how many of us there are and what some ideas for some DLC would be.

Personally i would like to see:
I Am The Law
Time
Madhouse (i know its allready been done but hey its a good song)
Efilnikufesin (N.F.L.)
Im the Man (just for laughs)

Just some ideas. Comments?

After my not-so-memorable experience with Madhouse (seriously I always forget this song even exist in GHII) I say nay.

Yay.

Indians would be my top choice. Then despite the fact they are covers Antisocial and Got the Time.

Was Caught in a Mosh in 80s edition?

I just don't think they would work for the whole band.

Definitely! Some Anthrax would be nice in the game, their songs are pretty fun to play and listen to.

Icould see a couple of songs by them being on there. But I think Id rather see some old Exodus (Bonded By Blood) than some Anthrax. If your going to go old school I can think of quite a few bands that were better than Anthrax,That would be just awsome to play. Morbid Angel would be freaking awsome.

What about Bring the Noise? That was one of the best rap-to-metal collaborations.

not necessarily. many of their songs have some very intense drumming as well as vocals(I Am the Law for example). As we have seen from the songs we already have not every song has to be insane for everyone. its more just a matter of picking the right songs to make sure everyone has one that challenges them on their instrument of choice. Luckily anthrax is a fairly well rounded band and could easily pull this off.

I Am The Law would be great!

This song is ranked #98 on iTunes for top songs by Anthrax, but I don't care because I love it: Misery Loves Company off of State of Euphoria. Chances of making it into Rock Band? Slim. But man would that make me happy.

But more popular Anthrax tracks would suffice, they're a great band.

I wonder if you can get points for doing the laugh on Madhouse.

The entire Among the Living album would work great, yes for the whole band.

Bring the Noise would be great as well.

Anthrax definitely needs to be in Rock Band. Their early years are not that great (especially in comparison to other thrash bands) but all the music they created with John Bush on vocals would be perfect in Rock Band. Any of the material off of "Volume 8", "The Sound of White Noise", or "We've Come For You All" would be sicknasty.

The 'early years' are the good stuff and that's the only stuff I would buy.
John Bush belongs in Armored Saint.
