2nd guitar not working

while playing rock band i can only get the lead guitar to work... 2nd guitar wont play the bass.. what am i doing wrong????

The Guitar Hero 3 guitar does not work for the PS3 version of Rock Band yet.

"Why?" might the original poster ask. We (Meaning ps3 Rock Band owners) might ask the same thing. The answer from Harmonix is still pending. I'm kind of curiuous if I might be eligible for a swap out for a xbox 360 version instead for the featured compatability, but thats likely not to happen.
