common harmonix you put gh3 on pc and not rock band. I'm no a big consol fan on account of how they become out dated a few years after they come out. Along with that online downloads for songs wouldn't be to hard we could go straight to your website to download them so please take my suggestion into account.

it would be nice to get some nice support here from the community plz post and voice !!!!!!!!!!!

Harmonix didn't put gh3 anywhere. A PC release would be neat to see though.

Despite already owning a PS3 and a 360, I'm in agreement with this one.

The PC is always my preferred platform of choice. I'll buy a game for the PC first, every time.

I used to be an AVID AVID PC support but somewhere down the road the NextGen consoles proved to me that the graphics engines are by far superior than what can be done on most PCs even with a better than average graphics card. What I LOVED about the ported games is the awesome mods that can be done (EA sports games come to mind)

If the console controllers were compatible with the PC and they had a standalone version, I'd definitely consider getting a second copy, there's just too many cool modders out there to not partake in that ingenuity especially if it has anything to do with ROCKIN OUT!

I dunno, I'm kinda torn on this one...It's hard enough having 4 people's charts on 1 65" big-screen TV...

I can't even imagine trying to cram all that onto a little computer monitor, with 4 people crowded around it trying to see their parts.

A PC release would be nice, but it won't happen. I myself would probably buy it on top of the copy I already have for 360. Also, Activision didn't even truly put GH3 on the PC, Aspyr did all the work...

As for the monitor issue, it's times like these that make me glad i have VGA support on my HDTV :D

That would be quite difficult, seeing as how my computer is upstairs, and my TV is downstairs...And to move either one to the other would be a complete hassle. :)

Yeah and my laptop can't even come close to meeting the Minimum System Requirements necessary for these games.

I always just move my desktop into the room where my TV is. As long as yours isn't enormous or extremely heavy for whatever reason, it's actually a lot easier than you'd think.

I don't have a problem playing mine on a monitor w/ 3 other co-workers. It'd been nicer if the game wasn't stuck at 720p though. I have my video hooked up via HDMI to a 24" LCD and I use the Digital In/Out on my Augidy 4 Pro.

I'd much rather have a PC version so that I can get the 1920x1200 (or 1920x1080; 1080p) resolution instead of that 720p mess... that's why it looks so crammed for people on the consoles.

Forgot to mention that I play mostly at work on my PS3, if that matters to anyone. I'll never trust my 360 to a game that's available on the PC or PS3. Not after it scratched my GH2 disc to hell and back.

Some TVs can be used as a PC monitor such as mine...
the real question is how would you get 4 people to share a keyboard

I don't get the argument about the resolution for small monitors or laptops. If people are playing on a TV using just the normal A/V cables (lets face it, its hard for most normal people to have a decent PC, much less buying a TV with component or HDMI) they're stuck at a 480i resolution.

It's pretty hard to get much smaller than a standard TV's resolution on the crappiest of monitor resolutions. True the screen won't be as big on a laptop or possibly a monitor, but the HUD would fit a lot better on them than it would on a normal CRT TV... that's considering they even scale the HUD for the resolution.

You'd be hard put to find a current or last-gen geforce card without a DVI out. Infact, i'd have more trouble finding one WITH a vga out. Most come with dual DVI out's these days and then a DVI to VGA converter.

Incidentally, my 360 sends 1920x1080 to my projector via VGA no probs, so it's more than capable when it comes to high resolutions.

It's like a console war, only it's a platform war! :)
