I was just informed that the reason why pork is so salty is because pigs don't sweat so all their toxins and stuff stay in their bodies. And supposedly only pig meat has these worms in it that will hatch inside you if not cooked properly... THEY ALL have worms because they do eat poop. Or so I've been told.

I was just informed that the reason why pork is so salty is because pigs don't sweat so all their toxins and stuff stay in their bodies. And supposedly only pig meat has these worms in it that will hatch inside you if not cooked properly... THEY ALL have worms because they do eat poop. Or so I've been told.

Where the heck did you hear that? I raised pigs for 10 years and I've never seen them eat their poop. They are rather clean animals. For one thing, they use one spot for a "restroom", which has always been in a corner away from where they eat and sleep.
