Huh oh, looks like GH is trying to compete with the exporting platform idea. http://www.gameplayer.com.au/gp_documents/SecretsofE3.aspx?Page=3 Here's hoping they follow suit with atleast Smash Hits, if they did with GH:M and GH:VH, then I think RB would be in serious trouble. Discuss.

If those games did turn into big track packs I think HMX would finally have some competition for the number of songs in the game but the quality of the charts allows HMX to continue earn my dollars.

I would see Guitar Hero in a whole new light if all their games were exportable.

I agree with what Baanu said. It's mostly a matter of preference, but I simply cannot look at the GH charts anymore. They're bloated, ugly, and messy compared to RB's.

Available tracks notwithstanding, for those people who like Rock Band over Guitar Hero solely on the aesthetics and the interface, the news of exportable GH songs will do nothing to sway their preference.
In any case, it's nice to see the GH play catch-up to RB's lead.

I'm not so sure I'd want to fill up more of my hard drive with GH songs. Maybe it's the charts or the overall animation, but whenever I pop GH in after playing Rock Band for a while, the game just looks and feels wrong.

Would some songs have Expert+ and others not?
Also will that stupid rule with the Tool songs carry over too?

I play the drums and their charts are dead on except for the missing tom and extra cymbal. Other than that they are exactly the same as RBs. They just chart the blue and green cymbal both to orange. Don't know what they do for the missing tom though?

There's already discussion about this in the GH5 thread. Please continue there.
