This thing plays almost every classic console. You add the roms (games). It also plays music and junk like that. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Sounds cool for people who don't have those systems. Before I got NES and SNES back I would play on emulators.

That is pretty cool and if the hardware is reliable enough to last for a long time $100 is very fair for it. I still play a lot of classic games on emulator, just recently got started on a replay of Illusion of Gaia actually (yes I actually own the cartridge, I just do not have a working SNES anymore).

100 bucks is a bit dear, but it does play CPS2 games. Hm..

I use Genesis Plus for Genesis games, I haven't tried looking for a NES/SNES emulator.

God, ThinkGeek is such an interesting website.

that's a nice piece of equipment and really cheap for what it can do, movies music and games. Although it is obviously aimed towards illegal downloads, I don't get how they can get away with making the thing, I know that some people might have the original cartridges, but all of mine went as soon as the next system I wanted came out.

ZSNES is the best SNES emu out there.

That's the one I used when I played SNES on my computer, great emulator.

yup, I'm currently juggling Secret of Evermore, Lufia and the Fortress of Doom, and Breath of Fire II right now.

Also, Breath of Fire 3 is epic!!!! It's taking away all my time from Rock Band.

It's so outdated now, but back in the day when I was in high school (so like, 98-99ish), it was the only NES emulator with compatibility worth a darn.

It was DOS-based though, so it was impossible for me to find a gamepad that worked with it, haha

Eh, my PSP does that all, and more.

Yeah, I'd say around 2005 I used to play NES on my computer, now that I actually have one now (the new version) I don't need an emulator anymore. I'm a big fan of the older games and prefer to play them on the consoles instead of my computer.

Wow, that's a cool little gadget! Since my NES and SNES died, ROMS have been the only way I've been able to enjoy the old games I enjoyed so dearly... but I don't think I'd pay c-note for it.

If the D-Pad or buttons don't feel right I don't see how I could get into it. Also, that tiny screen probably isn't going to help with RPGs.
