Hear me out. This game is at its best when your laughing at your buddies doing a cheesy, bad song like Wanted Dead or Alive or My Sharona. The game needs some more ridiculously bad songs that would be brilliant at parties. Anyone that grew up in the 80's probably remembers at least some of these fondly:

Your the Best Around (Karate Kid)
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/-Qae_TUTeGo&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/-Qae_TUTeGo&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Big Trouble in Little China song
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/D03E9kUTTtQ&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/D03E9kUTTtQ&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Ghostbusters theme
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ztTVWvtG9Ec&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ztTVWvtG9Ec&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

We Dont Need Another Hero (Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome)
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9IV9an1EE9M&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9IV9an1EE9M&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

Neutron Dance (Beverly Hills Cop)
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/UEo1Gg_SJ68&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/UEo1Gg_SJ68&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

C'mon, I can't be the only one who thinks doing these songs would be hillarious.

indeed RockBand shines when there's a laugh track in the background. i'm sure that harmonix can forget about their crush on David Bowie for a month to encode an 80's movie pack. Ghostbusters is loved the world over & you'd be a fool not include some good ole' Kenny Loggins "highway to the danger zone" "footloose" For good measure some Glenn Frey "the heat is on". there is plenty of good 80's cheese out there to make your next jam session a nostalgic sing-a-long where comedy is sure to ensue. Most of these songs Answer70 has listed would get the whole band involved, as well as anyone in an ear shot of these sweet 80's tunes. Nuetron Dance......Classic'

***80's Movie Pack coming soon?

GENIUS.

Okay, here are three. Sorry, but one of these isn't from the eighties. I tried to think of others, but most of what I could think of has already been mentioned by Answer70 or Baron von Gun. Anyway, these are still all tied to movies, and would be fun to play and sing. I explain why!

JUDGMENT NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!!! by Onyx and Biohazard
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/pfFD709OtFM&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/pfFD709OtFM&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
The best past about singing this song would be when you start choking and coughing up blood out of your lungs from impersonating Sticky Fingaz (who has kidnapped your girlfriend, and is keeping her in a burning warehouse. Go rescue her!)

Goodies Are Good Enough by Cyndi Lauper.
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XQBQlFZyZ-c&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XQBQlFZyZ-c&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
This would be a boss song. The only way you can activate STAR POWER on this one is by putting down the guitar, lifting up your shirt, and doing the truffle shuffle. Get 100% of the notes and Sloth crashes through the tabs and joins your band!

Dare by Stan Bush
<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nAESo2uv-po&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nAESo2uv-po&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

This one is great because of the hair-blowing waves of nostalgia and intense childhood flashbacks. The hard part about getting through this song is not quiting half way so you can go try to build Megatron out of Legos.

Wish I could think of more...
