i have to say though the awards are god awful. i mean i was shocked that halo 3 won the mountain dew award, yes that's right there is a mountain dew award.

The game is world class, the hardware on the other hand. Can't see it deserving to win any awards until they satisfy their customers.

I thought the Spike Awards were going to be playing Tonight.... Did I miss something? Is this just a list before the show comes on? Seems kinda lame to announce the winners before the show even airs its like whats the point.

the awards aren't live so when you invite journalists, the results get posted early. At least it keeps me from watching those awards
