The Strokes

The Strokes are an incredible band, and besides Reptilia I would love to see some more of their stuff in RB. Such as:

Someday
Is This It
Modern Age
You Only live Once
The End Had No End
Last Nite
Juicebox
12:51
Soma
Barely Legal

These songs just seem like they would be alot of fun to jam to.

The Strokes are kind of a double edged sword for me. They have some nice melodies and lyrical progressions, but their guitar is rediculously repetitive and the singer isn't very good.

Bumping this for justice. I love The Strokes and we need more of them in Rock Band. At least a 3-pack! I'm thinking:

Automatic Stop
Someday or Last Night (the well-known hit of the pack)
You Only Live Once

I'd love to see other songs by them as well, but I'd love those at bare minimum. 12:51 and Hard to Explain would be great as well.

Is This It is my top-pick for full album, as it's the only one I can think of where I truly would be ok with every song coming up in BWT. Great, great album for Rock Band.

edit: OK, I finally beat the song and the anger has passed. The Strokes are a good band, and I like Reptilia when I'm not singing it.

I agree 100% with "Heart In A Cage". That song has enough going on with the drums, guitars and vocals in it, that it would be a lot more fun than "Reptilia". I think the only problem is that the song has an F-bomb in it. I'd also love "Someday" for the drums alone. All good choices.

Haha, I don't know what it is but I'm actually better at Reptilia than I am most songs on Expert. I usually don't get under 93% singing it. And this is all the while playing Expert guitar for my Band in BWT.

The thing you have to keep in mind is that these are professional developers, not a crew of people making a homebrew game with no connections to the artists or the record labels. Editing a word or two wouldn't be a big deal.

On that note, gimme as much of The Strokes as possible. Awesome band.
