Please Help...

Ok guys...i can't figure this out so hopefully somebody can...when i plug my drum pedal into my rock band drum set, it registers a hit and then when i press down to play it, it doesn't register...and then again when i take out the pedal, the hit registers....is it the pedal or the drums

Are you by any chance pressing down on the pedal when you're plugging it in? That may cause an error.

If that's not it, this is a problem I've never seen, so I suggest you wait for someone who's seen this problem on the forums or RMA (http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54179) your pedal/drums (if you can).

Nope, I am not pressing down when i plug it in, thats what is strange about it. I've had these drums since Rock Band 1 came out, it just might be time for some new ones.

Tough luck... I wish I could help you, but I've never seen a problem like this on the original kit. I know the RB2 kit has wiring issues that cause failure similar to this, but never heard of this kind of thing on the originals.
