....for Rock Band, and Guitar Hero 80's Edition for that matter (if that is a definite game, developed by you)...what bands are you aiming to get for the game, please tell, even if you just hint towards a single band, pleeeeease P.S. you probably hear this a lot but, you are awesome, and created one of the single most enjoyable game series, hope your song line-up is as good as Guitar Hero 2 (Guitar Hero 1, was pretty good, but boy, Guitar Hero had a ton of good songs, and a bunch i have never heard and learned to love) Also, thank you for introducing me to the master that is Buckethead, if it wasn't for Jordan being in GH2, i wouldn't be listening to Buckethead!

I don't think they can reveal that info yet.

And if GH 80s Edition is in the works, I think that Neversoft would be developing it. But I don't see the point of 80s Edition after GH3 though because then every major console would then have the online mode that they hinted at today, and downloadable content. If anything, they'll probably release a 80s package via microtransactions.

And yeah, Harmonix is awesome.

I'm hoping for Primus and Rush. Something for the bassists, y'know?

I totally agree with the Dragonforce idea. I hear a lot of people like Dragonforce music for different parts. Some people are totally pumped about the lyrics and ZP's voice, while most of us melt our faces to the guitars.

I read an interview in (I think) Metal Hammer Mmagazine that had an interview with Dragonforce where they said that they were not at all fans of Guitar Hero.

That guy spent 86 years of his life learning how to play guitar, lost all his friends locked in a room training fret burning riffs and now you come with a game that allows to play that same stuff in 6 months .... he's just jealous / pissed off, that will pass. =P

These videos (http://www.ugo.com/channels/music/features/dragonforce/videogallery.asp) seem to say different. Although, I think Dragonforce would be way too ridiculous for this game.

For Rock Band, I'd definitely like to see some AC/DC or Led Zeppelin, as they've both been strangely absent from the first two games. Also, since both Brian Setzer and Reverend Horton Heat were on GH2, it seems fairly obvious that there's at least one rockabilly fan working on the Harmonix team. It makes me very hopeful that there'll either be another Reverend song, or maybe something from Th' Legendary Shack Shakers (a quickly rising star in the rockabilly world). Maybe they could even throw in a bonus track from the sublimely bizarre Phenomenauts.

This is quite literally the oldest post I've ever seen necroposted thanks to some disagreeable fellow.
