Well, you guys picked it, so I've got it- a game of Monopoly.

The game works very similarly to the actual Monopoly. However, the spaces are now rock-themed. I did not necessarily pick bands and genres for their merit.

The properties are, by location...

Go Space to Jail Space

-Shoegazer Way- $10
-Emo Street- $45
-Limp Aveknot-$5
-No Doubt That This is A Railroad!-$100
-Boulevardamore- $70
-Sunset Strip- $95

Jail Space to Free Parking Space

-Plaza Bloody Plaza- $150
-Led Avenin- $375
-Streetcubus- $200
-Steely Railroad- $100
-Who Road- $500
-Place Full of Cars- $275

Free Parking Space to Go to Jail Space

-Avedeth- $450
-Rush Street- $750
-Boulevardthrax- $650
-Rage Against the Railroad- $100
-Coheed and Cambriavenue- $200
-Avenue Ray Vaughn- $800

Go to Jail Space to Go Space

-Iron Boulevarden- A thousand
-Nirvanavenue- Two grand
-AC/DC Way- Five grand
-Income Tax- Like, half your money
-Street Jam- An arm or a leg ($10K)
-Beatles Boardwalk- An arm and a leg ($15K)

Some extra rules are...

-$1,000 is placed in the center, and another hundred is added for every 3 spaces moved. Whoever lands on Free Parking gets that thousand and the jackpot refills and resets.
-No Chance or Community Chest because I wanted to keep it simple.
-Once all properties are filled, the money is totaled up.
-Everyone starts with $1,500 as usual.
- Maximum of four players per game...

Oh I totally agree. This is stupid. So was his other game idea that he abandoned. I made those die for another game I was going to make but never got around to it.

It takes at most a couple of hours a few times a week, so yes, its a commitment, but its also a LOT of fun.

BOTB only requires you to play a couple of songs per day. You can check the thread in the morning, go to work/school/life and come back later, play one or two songs for your team and check out. Of course, the more involved you are the more fun it is.
