I was just kind of curious as to why the drum feet didn't come with carpet grippers on them?

I don't know if anyone else has a problem with it but on some songs that require a lot of kicks, the drum kit will move away from me while playing. It only happens on some carpets, mostly the shorter piles like berber and "office carpet".

Nothing really to complain about or whatever, I was just wondering why the choice was made not to use carpet grippers on the feet.

I put my Bass amp behind the drum set, it happens to fit just perfectly behind the feet. I would suggest just placing a small, heavy object behind the pads while you play.

I've got the same problem. I end up rotating the kit around about 15 degrees counter clockwise because I have the pedal lined up on the right. I sit back from the set to kick comfortably and lean into the pads because I'm 6' 4".

I've adapted by playing barefoot, getting more grip on the pedal, then lifting with my whole leg and slightly pulling backwards with my foot. I guess that reads a little complicated but it works and its plenty comfortable. I think the ideal setup would be tabletop instead of using the stand. Or they could have made the stand a bit heavier at the base.
