Activision boycott?

according to this website that i was on, the so called new "patch" that was suppose to come out a couple days ago is now being delayed because activision doesnt want rock band to use there stuff. Guitars, ect. Activision even brought there lawyers into this delayed harmonix from realeasing the patch.Homos

Rumour has it that Activision are delaying the release of the RockBand patch to make the PS3 GH3 guitars work with RB.

With this in mind, should this turn out to be the case, does anyone plan to take the above action (in the title) against Activision?

I dont think thats how it works man. You either boycott, or you dont.

I dont want to waste ages dissecting something that might not be even true, but if it is, its the most counter intuitive business decision ever. People are buying GH3 for the bass guitar, if they stop the patch from being launched, it will cost them sales of GH3.

Therefore, it would be purely to obstruct the business of HMX/EA. Pretty petty, huh?

Guys, one thing to bear in mind is that these are only rumors. There has been no public statement as to exactly what is holding up the patch. Therefore, you could be boycotting someone that has nothing to do with this.

This brings me to my next point. Posting public boycotts of other companies is something we don't support on our forums. You're welcome to have a civil discussion about another company, but try to keep that in the General section.
