My replacement guitar came exactly the same as the first one, so the box had the guitar, headstock, and strap.

Yes. You will receive a new strap with the replacement.

I didn't ship mine with the strap. Does that matter?

Correct me if I'm wrong but you get to open the box with the new guitar and handle it before you put the guitar to be returned inside. You'll be able to tell exactly what they've sent you before you send anything off.

Only if you are doing express shipping and let them put a $100 hold on your credit card. Otherwise they send the new guitar after they receive the broken one.
