I need some help on this game. I just got it yesterday, I need to know how I can form a band online and how to play online.

Currently, online "band" play is just online "quickplay". Not sure which system you're on, but from an Xbox 360 point of view, all you have to do is go into band quickplay and invite friends who have the game to join the band and you're good to go.

Band World Tour, currently, is limited to local play only (no online component). In the future, however, there may be a Band World Tour patch (if IGN's information in their review was correct) which would allow for user made bands to play online instead of local.

I play on the PS3 system. and when i chose the "communites" thing, it said my online password. Where do i put the password?
