Rock Band Unplugged problem

I just got Rock Band Unplugged, and in every menu that features side-to-side choices (like choosing a gender, or the keyboard in naming your band), the choices continuously scroll as if a button is stuck on the PSP. It's a new PSP and I tried other games and the PSP store menus, and nothing else has that problem. The button isn't stuck.

Is there anything I can do to get this working? The game is fine but it's impossible to create a band! Thanks!
