Drum warranty

I will be getting my drums tommorow from ea.They gave me a tracking number for ups and i tracked it down on the ups website and it says the weight of the package is 12 lbs.Is that how much the drums weigh??Has anyone recieved drums threw warranty??How much did the box wiegh??

Barring the expectation of holiday gifts, did you really think a 12 lb package was going to be a replacement guitar or microphone? Did you even order anything else through UPS?

No, I didn't order anything else.Just my replacement drums and ea sent me the tracking number and it says 12 lbs.

I can say for certain that the drum pedal is rated at 3 lbs for shipping (but only weighs 1.25 lbs), the guitars are rated 7 lbs for shipping (but only weigh 5 lbs).

My guess is that the drums are probably like 9 lbs and the package is rated for 12. :)

tbradshaw is probably right. If a box seems too light for its size we have to measure the dimensions of the box and charge for the size of the box instead. On a side note, you'd be surprised to see how many small boxes we get that weigh over 75 pounds.

what was wrong with your original drums?

I had the red pad issue for fast notes (I am a drummer of 20 years) and unfortunately the same thing still happens with the replacements. I need to reach out to EA but was wondering if it was the same issue or different (and if you are a drummer).
