Instrument Compatability

I know this is all on the shoulders of Guitar Hero creators but I was just curious if anyone has gotten their RockBand 2 instruments to work with Guitar Hero: World Tour on the Wii? Or have heard any news of Guitar Hero creating a fix/patch? Or if the Metallica version works?

Nintendo doesn't allow patches. There will only be compatibility with games that initially come with it, so RB instruments in GHWT is a no-go (I don't know about GH:M, but I doubt that they'll work).

That really angers me, wish I would have bought a Xbox 360.

It's a pain, I agree (I even went as far as selling my Wii and getting a 360--you can do it without much of a loss on eBay), but it's Nintendo's policy, and there's nothing you or I can do about it.
It also may be worth your while to check out the Guitar Hero forums to see if there's any updates about this or some sort of workaround (I think the GHWT drums have a USB-MIDI converter that could be useful).

(Just some quick advice: console-bashing is against forum rules. If you're caught, you'll get hit with the banhammer, so don't get too angry about it.)
