It is immensely important that video previews of DLC exist and that they be easily accessed and of a sufficient quality. How else are customers supposed to make an informed purchase, especially in the case of songs they're not familiar with?
Thus I propose a radical change.
First, we abandon YouTube and its frustration for an alternative...something along the lines of Vimeo, for instance, and its commitment to HD availability.
Second, we form a collective, a group of top instrumentalists dedicated to serving the Rock Band public by producing these videos in a timely and professional manner.
Third, we advertise this collective and cultivate support and good will from the community.
Fourth, we arrange a well-oiled, swift recording mechanism, enlisting people with a capability similar to Jarr3tt88RB's Hauppauge 1212 HD PVR to produce detailed, high-definition videos.
Fifth, we pair off in order to display the note charts of all instruments on Expert difficulty. Enforcing only two instruments per recording will make for a distributed workload and overall clearer and sharper videos with little screen clutter or business getting in the way of the charts.
Sixth, we repeat steps 3-5 ad infinitum until the powers that be at Microsoft and Harmonix attend to this themselves or until the flow of DLC ceases. Or maybe until the next Ice Age. Who knows?
I humbly seek partners for this venture.
