strange question dlc won't play

so here's the deal, I traded my 20gig 360 hard drive for a 60gig one, transfered everything via memory card, all my dlc and save data, cept for the packs that were too big for it, rhcp srv ja and maiden. I'm hoping my problem is that since I switched hard drives I'll have to patch the game again before I can use my dlc, but xbl is down till tomorrow so I can't test that theory. But anytime I pick a dlc song to play it just goes to the loading screen and never loads. Would swapping a hard drive have anything to do with license transfer issues, cause I thought it was console specific and the hdd doesn't matter.

Does it tell you that it can't load or does it just load forever?

k xbox live is up now, got the game patched and it's running great

swapping hard drives has no effect on the licenses. its only affected on a different console
