BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!! GoW is one of the best 3rd person action games of all time, if not THE best. Words cannot describe the love I have for God of War. Few action games are as epic in production and replay value.

Replay value? I don't remember any replay value for GoW and GoW2 even though I completed both games....

Games like that are the reason I still play with my N64/SNES :p

I feel games right now are all about visuals and nothing about the story...few games in this generation I've been interested in... and GoW and Devil May Cry are not one of them.

I've played the last Devil May Cry and it's story is the reason for it's replay value. Heaps ahead of what God of War is.

Really? haven't really played it actually... a friend of mine has it and I have seen it...but haven't been interested in the game...would you recommend it? I've played the first 3 games...is it a lot different story-wise and gameplay?

The story is the same anime-drenched fantasy, but I think it has a lot more substance and work put into it than the last three. A few twists were fun and some entertaining boss battles. Game kept me going and the final boss is one of the funnest I've ever played in a while.

I would recommend it for a rental at the least.

God of War 1 and 2 are the best third person action games I've probably ever played. They are vicious, gorgeous, and flawless. GOW3 will be no different, but looks 10X more brutal that before. It's gonna be amazing!
